RISK AD2210
We love Risk and Risk AD2210 is a great addition to the entire suite of Risk games available. It has some nice additions with the "Leader" characters that you can use in certain battle situations to give you the extra edge. The pieces hae changes too - they have a new futureistic and robotic look. The 3-unit piece looks the two legged walker from Starr Wars, Return of the Jedi. While the 5-unit piece is polished-up with a nice, Mech-Warrior look. The single unit piece is your standard futuristic infantryman with body armor to match.

The map has the standard continents but with some serious post-neuclear geographic tampering by our decendents. Add underwater cities and causways and you get the picture. Also, the addition of the moon makes for some interesting options during game play but the game can easily be played without it.

A newer feature to the risk game, employed here, is the inclusion of cards to add random events and even the playing field. So, if your going against your game group/family "Patton", you still have a chance - even if the dice don't always fall your way.

All said, with underwater "bubble" cities and a post-apoctolyptic si-fi theme, Risk AD2210 is a great game for any Risk player looking for a change of atmosphere. :o)
